Track n Trace is a custom web-based platform developed for Ontario's Common Collection System (CCS) under the Blue Box Regulation. Designed by Reverse Logistics Group (RLG), it tracks the movement of blue box materials, simplifying compliance reporting, data analysis, and operational improvement. The platform’s modular design supports various functions, including supply chain management, auditing, and customer relations, while satellite integration enhances data visualization and financial management. This innovative tool helps reduce contamination, ensures transparency, and supports the transition to a sustainable circular economy in Ontario.
I worked closely with project management, stakeholders, and developers to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Clear communication and collaboration were key to ensuring technical feasibility met user requirements.
Starting with low-fidelity wireframes, I created prototypes to visualize functionality and iterated on designs through feedback. User testing was integral in refining the interface, ensuring both usability and satisfaction.
I designed user flows, information architecture, and interfaces that prioritized user needs. By focusing on user-centric principles, I helped create a seamless and intuitive platform.
The final product successfully streamlined recycling processes, aligning with sustainability goals while improving user engagement. By enhancing user experience, we delivered an intuitive, efficient system that promotes recycling and supports environmental responsibility.
