NAVIGATO is an advanced advisory tool designed for wealth management. It enables financial advisors to quickly generate comprehensive structural analyses, including risk profiling, private balance sheets, and stress tests for affluent clients. The platform also offers cross-selling opportunities by incorporating topics like estate planning, real estate, and wealth succession into client reports. The key features of NAVIGATO include a holistic private balance sheet, return/risk optimization using Nobel laureate Harry Markowitz’s methods, stress tests to simulate past financial crises, and backtesting using historical market data. Developed by Micro-Plan, a medium-sized company near Munich, NAVIGATO also offers options for sustainable investments, providing a well-rounded solution for modern wealth management.
I collaborated with Micro-Plan’s project management, stakeholders, and developers to ensure the tool met the specific needs of wealth management advisors. We focused on integrating features that enhance the user experience and streamline the advisory process for clients. Clear communication between the teams was essential to align business goals with technical feasibility.
We started with wireframes to visualize the core functionalities of the tool and iterated based on feedback from stakeholders. The design process involved continuous testing to ensure that the tool was intuitive for advisors and provided accurate, actionable insights.
